Melissia Witt currently serves as the Business Officer for the Department of Engineering Technology and the Institute of Research for Technology Development (IR4TD). Melissia has 17 years combined experience at UK including 4 years as the Budget Officer of the Graduate School and industry experience with L-3 Communications/Lockheed Martin. While working at UK, Melissia also attended and graduated from CBMI (College Business Management Institute), which is a 3-years program for business officers.
Melissia grew up in Eastern Kentucky but has spent her adult life living in Lexington, Kentucky. She earned her BS in Accounting from UK in 1999 and my MBA from Sullivan University in 2009. Melissia recently started traveling abroad and is also a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
